Herron Morton is one of six cultural districts in the city of Indianapolis, Indiana. It was named in honor of former Indiana governor, Oliver Morton. This community is home to the Herron Morton Place Historic Park and this park features a children's playground with a climbing rock, a picnic pavilion, and more. Herron Morton is perhaps, best known for its 19th and 20th century architecture and Queen Anne style homes. In fact, one of the more popular Herron Morton social events is their annual Tour of Homes that showcases the attractive historical properties of the Herron Morton neighborhood.
